Avalon Action Alliance provides life-changing programs to our nation’s veterans and first responders suffering from co-occurring symptoms related to traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress (PTS), and substance abuse (SA).
Avalon Action Alliance - Pacific Northwest
Across the country, thousands of veterans return home carrying the invisible wounds of war, traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress, and substance abuse. While these injuries may not be visible, their effects are devastating. Many veterans struggle to reintegrate into civilian life, often facing emotional isolation, substance abuse, depression, and in too many cases, thoughts of suicide. The need for effective, compassionate, and comprehensive care has never been more urgent.
That’s where Avalon Action Alliance steps in. Avalon is a national nonprofit dedicated to healing those who have sacrificed so much for our country—veterans, military personnel, and first responders, by addressing the root causes of trauma with science-based, integrative care. One of their flagship initiatives is the Warrior PATHH program: Progressive and Alternative Training for Healing Heroes.
Warrior PATHH is a transformative, immersive experience for veterans and first responders. Set in a retreat-like environment, the program blends neuroscience, behavioral health, and peer-to-peer support to guide participants through deep emotional work. It’s not a traditional clinical model, it’s a holistic, human-centered experience. Veterans in the Warrior PATHH program reconnect with a sense of purpose, process trauma in a safe space, and begin the journey toward lasting healing. The program is rooted in the understanding that true recovery isn’t just about surviving—it’s about rediscovering the will to thrive.
Recognizing the powerful impact of the Warrior PATHH program, the JTMF Foundation has chosen to partner with Avalon Action Alliance, with a two-year commitment, to support the program in the Pacific Northwest. Through this partnership, JTMF and Avalon are ensuring that more veterans in the Pacific Northwest receive the support they’ve earned. Together, they are helping to restore purpose, dignity, and direction to the lives of those who’ve given so much in service to others.
