We recognize the challenges facing individuals and communities are complex and constantly evolving. Our goal is to remain flexible, supporting organizations that address immediate needs while also working to tackle the underlying causes of those challenges.
Guided by our Catholic values, we seek opportunities where our resources can make the greatest and most lasting impact. Our grantmaking is focused primarily in the Pacific Northwest, with a particular commitment to rural communities that often have fewer resources and support opportunities available.

We believe every child should have the chance to grow up healthy, happy, and able to pursue their dreams. We support organizations that provide young children and their parents with the resources, opportunities, and encouragement they need to succeed, especially those serving diverse and lower-income families. We are particularly committed to early childhood development from birth through age five, along with Catholic elementary school and after-school programs that build strong foundations for lifelong success.

As members of our communities age, they often face new and complex challenges that can affect their health, independence, and quality of life. We support organizations dedicated to helping older adults live healthy, connected, and fulfilling lives by addressing issues such as disease, hunger, isolation, and access to care. Of particular importance to us are efforts to prevent, detect, treat, and ultimately find a cure for Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, while also supporting individuals and families affected by these conditions.

We believe those who have served our country deserve our deepest gratitude and unwavering support. The transition from military service to civilian life can bring unique challenges, including finding new purpose, building community connections, securing employment, and navigating the physical and emotional effects of service. We support organizations that help veterans and their families successfully navigate this transition while promoting long term well-being and stability. Of particular importance to us are programs that address mental health and employment support.

We believe individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities enrich our communities through their unique gifts, perspectives, and abilities. We support organizations that help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their full potential by expanding access to education, employment, life-skills training, recreation, housing, and community engagement. Through these efforts, we hope to help build communities where people of all abilities are valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
